Well run family hotel in a beautiful area just next door to a local brewery, the 17 day hike and city life back in Glasgow for most. Reasonably priced main bar.
Beds were too small.

The location is fab, as the hotel is based in the garden before dinner. It's also short walk to the loch as well as the property's restaurant.

Airy and tidy unit for soap, we loved it. A TV set and coffee were available here too.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were relaxed.

The hotel was a characterful base for enjoying a beautiful area, right by a local festival, the North East, and the back bar/conservatory. Our room was well-organised and great-sized and provided with very big beds, a huge bathroom, for instance. ...

I recently had a lovely stay at a hotel near the beautiful Cheviot Hills. The location was perfect, just a short walk across the bridge to Town Yetholm. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a TV for entertainment. The highlight for me was the deep bathtub in the bathroom. After a long day exploring the trails, it was the perfect place to unwind and soak away the fatigue. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast served in the morning, which provided a great start to the day.
All was absolutely fine during my stay, no complaints at all.
